DRAFT EP TRACKLIST / SYNOPSIS
2 ALL YOU KNOW IS all you are
At the bottom of the sea in a launderette, 18 year old molaz does her abusive boyfriend’s laundry with two broken arms in casts. Cracking jokes throughout, she realises she failed to remove a cube of hashish from one of the pockets which has turned all the laundry brown…
Maybe the laundrette slowly fills up with brown clay throughout the track… to be storyboarded…
4 IN MY BRAIN (WORKING TITLE)
In a dream state, molaz looks outward at the state of violence against women in the UK, shifting focus from the women who have wronged her, instead feeling solidarity with them, realising the world isn’t what she thought it’d be like in adulthood. She recognises that her experiences at age 18-25 and the formation of a frontal lobe irreparably sculpt her mindset

3 petty
Back on land, in the aftermath of the relationship, molaz finds she has lost a bunch of female friendships - either through pushing them away during her relationship, or being ghosted by them. An upbeat track exploring all the fun ways to be petty and the acts of micro (or macro) revenge…
5 WAVE TO ME (WORKING TITLE)
molaz wakes up from the dream state suffering a pulmonary edema which feels like drowning awake. as the hospital staff fight to save her life, she wishes there and then that she really had been killed by her boyfriend because it would’ve been fast and painless, rather than slowly drowning, painfully having time to reflect on all her mistakes and the current state of the world. she draws comparisons of feeling like the world itself is drowning slowly and that though there is nothing we can do about it, we can try to make the most of the time we have left…
Having survived her two near-death experiences, molaz is still recovering mentally, deeply frightened by it all and insecure, drinking life away on the northern line. the intro to ‘chelsea tractor’ plays…
